Blockchain is really a new method of record keeping rather then doing a centralized mechanism having one entity look after the books it's decentralized system where many many computers work in a distributed process .
In blockchain each block can store information of transaction using a unique "digital signature".
Every blocks stored information are different form other block and each of this block stored unique code called "hash ". A single block can store up-to 1 MB of data that means thousand of
transaction can store under in one block.
How It Works ?
lets start with a example, suppose Mr A transfer a money to Mr B using blockchain technology.
Firstly this transaction must be verified ,in real life like bank or Securities Exchange Commission
take a charge of vetting this new entry but in blockchain a computer networks doing this job.
Immediate after that transaction that network rushes to check that your transaction happened
confirm it .
After that this entire transaction stored in block with it's all data in a digital signature format. In
this way when all the block's transaction verified it given a unique code called hash and that
the block also given hash to the recent added block to the blockchain.
